Ani backstage at the VCN

My mom happened to be in town and was on set with me here on the VCN, produced by the Hollywood Reporter, where I shot my 5 cooking episodes. Here’s my Phyo family with my brother Max.

Ani on Bizarre Foods, Travel Channel

I was invited to make dinner for Andrew Zimmern, host of Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel.
We had a great time in the kitchen making Hemp Sun Burgers, Flax Flat Bread, Rawzagna (which we are holding up for the camera in this photo), Chocolate Shakes, and other fun fast delicious treats.

Though we shot for about 5 hours, the final segment will air for 6 minutes, and go out to 70 million homes!! So cool of Andrew and his awesome crew to include RAW food on their travels through Los Angeles. Will air in the fall, stay tuned here for more info as it comes in.

I was invited to shoot another 5 webisodes of my uncooking shows, this time for the Virtual Channel Network online, produced by Breakdown Services in cooperation with The Hollywood Reporter.

These shows should air in a month or so, and I’ll keep you posted here as soon as I hear the exact date. It was a fun day making Strawberry Parfait, Marinara tossed in Kelp Noodles, Superfood Shake, Lemon Tahini Tossed Spring Greens and more fast and easy, super nutritious, delicious goodies.

Listen to Ani’s interview on Dynamic Health Radio

Listen to my interview on Dynamic Health
with Allart on CRFO, 1-2.7 FM Vancouver, BC from March 26, 2008. Discussed are the many benefits of a raw vegan diet and lifestyle - weight loss, cures disease, greater health, focus, vitality, less sleep requirements, etc. It also lightens one’s environmental footstep - less packaging, pollution, transport costs, global warming, etc.

(Sorry I’m so behind on posting my updates. Been working on my new site, hoping to launch in a week or 2!)
