Many of you have been asking me what exactly a raw food diet consists of. More than just a diet, raw foods are a way of living. I ideally enjoy eating raw, organic, whole, and fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. Personally, I don’t use grains nor legumes in my raw food.
Our journey to health is a continuum. Yesterday we may have been vegan, enjoying processed GMO soy fake meat products. That’s a step healthier than the real meat that was eaten previously. Today, we may enjoy a raw food nut pate made with sea salt, which is healthier than the table salt we used yesterday.
Remember, change doesn’t happen overnight. It’s important to love ourselves and to notice how we feel as the percentage of raw foods in our diet increases. I noticed a huge increase in energy, focus, vitality, clarity,…plus I lost weight without trying.
Once we experience what it’s like to feel good, healthy, and strong, we’re hooked!
