Chocolate Mylk Shake
makes 4 servings

This is my recipe for the raw food vegan Chocolate Mylk Shake I made for Andrew Zimmern on the LA episode of Bizarre Foods. Almonds are blended to make my dairy-free mylk. It’s sweetened with dates, spiced with vanilla bean and raw cacao powder, then kissed with coconut oil for extra richness.

Holy cow, you won’t believe this is dairy-free, cruelty-free, sugar-free, guilt-free, vegan, vegetarian, raw food, good for you and the planet. Live green.

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 vanilla bean, or 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract, alcohol free
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder 
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, liquid
  • 3 cups water

Place all ingredients in your high speed blender, and blend until smooth.

This is the 2nd of my 5 webisodes shot for the Virtual Channel Network, produced by Breakdown Services in cooperation with The Hollywood Reporter.

In this raw food, vegan recipe I use Nutiva hemp and coconut, great for our health and our skin. I use my favorite Personal Blender by Tribest Corp to make my raw food smoothie. 

As always, my raw food recipe is free of sugar, gluten, wheat, dairy, and guilt. Good for your body, soul, and taste buds! 

Superfood Shake
Makes 1 serving

1 banana
2 Tblspoons hemp protein powder
2 Tblspoons hemp nut 
1 Tblspoon hemp oil
1 Tblspoon coconut oil
1 1/3 cup filtered water

Place all ingredients in your Personal Blender, blend smooth and enjoy!

Antioxidant Power Smoothie

Here’s the smoothie I wrote about in my Huffington Post article on raw foods. It’s packed with antioxidants and vitamins to keep us looking and feeling great. Plus soaked chia keeps us super hydrated, and keeps our skin supple and moist.

Antioxidant Superfood Smoothie
Makes 1 to 2 servings 

1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds, soak overnight in 1/2 cup filtered water, to make chia gel
1 teaspoon Maca powder
2 Tablespoons Tropical Blend from Navitas Naturals (blueberry, acai, mangosteen) 
2 Tablespoons sprouted flax powder, from Navitas Naturals
1 Tablespoon coconut oil
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup filtered water

Place all ingredients into your blender, and blend until smooth.

I was invited to shoot another 5 webisodes of my uncooking shows, this time for the Virtual Channel Network online, produced by Breakdown Services in cooperation with The Hollywood Reporter.

A great way to enjoy whole oranges. Just blend with vanilla, and add pecans for maple-flavored creaminess. Just use the whole vanilla bean in your high speed blender, or de-seed and use only the seeds in a lower-speed blender. You can always use a Tablespoon of vanilla extract instead, but make sure it’s alcohol-free.

    2 oranges, peel and seed
    1 cup pecans
    1/2 cup pitted dates
    1 vanilla bean
    2 cups filtered water
