Last night I had the honor of meeting long time activist for reversing global climate change David Suzuki, who was filming and hosting a Discovery Channel 2-hour special called The New Centurions.
I’m super proud of my friend and fellow vegan cookbook author Bryant Terry, a New Centurion who uses cooking as tactic in the movement for social justice.

Captain Paul Watson, of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, from the Discovery Channel show Whale Wars. This man risks his life to end illegal whale hunting by getting his ship in between the poachers’ boats and the whales. Wow, amazing.
